The Role

This is a real opportunity to shape the direction and put your stamp on our marketing creative and websites. With access to inhouse developers, content writers and media buyers, Lead Insight is looking for a candidate to help shape its future design direction.

As one of the team and primary web designer, you’ll be responsible for planning, designing and testing our sites, having input on engaging marketing content that helps us achieve that goal. Working with the other team members, you’ll work alongside our Developers, Content Writers and Media Buyers to create a short term and longer term plan to maximise traffic and successful customer outcomes.

You’ll be aided by our Media Buyers who will provide detail about the product itself and current performace, it will then be your job to aid in the research of competitor marketing and keeping ahead with current trends, identifying new ideas to test that will increase impressions and traffic to the brand sites.

As the Web Designer, you will need to bring these from ideas to reality to create razor-sharp designs for our brand websites – These are built around a suite of 2 primary brands either ‘Quote Today’ or ‘Helpdesk’.

As well as commissioning new websites, a key part of the role will be to liase with the marketing team to monitor the performance across the current marketing, identifying new opportunities and making improvements and updates to improve traffic and conversions, of course you will be supported on this with granular detail around robust A/B testing results and processes.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the marketing creative and websites across Lead Insight brands
  • Maintaining the CMS and the templates for the websites.
  • Liaise with the Lead Insight marketing team for current performance and identify new opportunities for ad creatives.
  • Edit new and websites to optimise using A/B testing to drive conversions
  • Create any marketing literature for the company
  • Gain deep knowledge of the audiences, products and services for your areas of focus

Key Skills & Experience

  • HTML, CSS, Javascript building Responsive website design
  • Knowledge of CSS frameworks (Bootstrap, Tailwind)
  • Figma
  • Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) or Affinity Software (Photo, Designer)
  • Good project management skills
  • Excellent organisational and influencing skills

Beneficial Skills

  • Knowledge of A/B testing
  • Knowledge of Hotjar
  • Full UK driving Licence

  • Ability to interpret A/B testing results to improve lead volumes
  • Strong working relationships with the wider team members
  • Deep understanding of target audiences for brands
